How do I add a new product to inventory? ⌄
Go to Inventory Dashboard → click "+ Add Product" button in the top right. Fill in the product name, SKU, buy price, sell price, stock quantity, and expiry date. You can also pick an emoji icon for easy identification at the counter.
How does the QR code scanner work at the counter? ⌄
At the Sale Counter, click the 📷 QR Scan button to open your device camera. Point it at any AiPOS AI QR code. The product will be added to the bill automatically. USB barcode scanners also work — just plug in and scan.
How do I give a free trial to a user? ⌄
Go to Admin Dashboard → Free Trials section → click "+ Give Free Trial". Select the user, choose the plan (Silver/Gold/Platinum), and set the duration (1–3 months). The user gets notified via Email + WhatsApp instantly.
What happens when a product is about to expire? ⌄
AiPOS AI automatically alerts you 30 days before expiry (orange), 15 days before (red), and 7 days before (pulsing red + WhatsApp/Email). The product appears highlighted in inventory so you can run promotions or remove it from sale.
Can the system work without internet (offline)? ⌄
Yes! AiPOS AI uses PWA technology (Progressive Web App). Sales continue normally without internet. All offline data syncs to the cloud automatically when your connection returns. Available on Gold plan and above.
How do 8 user roles work? ⌄
Just like WordPress user roles — each person has their own email and password, and sees only what their role allows. A Cashier only sees the counter. A Manager sees inventory and finance. Super Admin sees everything. Assign roles from the Access Control dashboard.
How do I print receipts on a thermal printer? ⌄
AiPOS AI supports all printer types using the browser print API — no special drivers needed. At the counter, click 🖨️ Print Bill. Select your thermal printer from the print dialog. For best results, set paper size to 80mm in Settings → Receipt.
How do I generate colorful QR codes? ⌄
Go to QR & Barcode Dashboard. Select your product, choose the content type, then pick a color from the color swatches (8 colors available). Colorful QR codes are available on Silver plan and above. Free plan gets basic black QR only.
Can I use AiPOS AI in Arabic? ⌄
Yes! AiPOS AI supports full Arabic with RTL (Right-to-Left) layout. Your location is auto-detected — Saudi and UAE users see Arabic + English by default. You can also manually switch language in Settings or by clicking the language button in the top navigation.
What is the difference between Free and paid plans? ⌄
The
Free plan gives 1 counter, 300 products, and basic black QR/Barcode — perfect to try the system.
Silver and above unlock colorful QR, more counters, and more products.
